Keyboard shortcuts
The keys that move around Alba Ticket and act on tickets, modelled on Jira's.
Press ? on any page for the list. Shortcuts follow Jira's, so habits carry over. They pause while you type in a field and while a dialog is open.
Everywhere
| Keys | Action |
|---|---|
| g then d | Home |
| g then p | Projects |
| g then i | The tickets of the project you opened last (Jira's issue navigator) |
| g then a | Boards |
| c | New ticket |
| / | Quick search |
| f | Filter the list on the page, where there is one |
| ? | Show or hide the shortcut list |
The two-key sequences start with g and expect the second key within a second. Escape closes whatever is open: a dialog, a header menu, an inline form such as a transition or a comment being edited, and, when nothing else is open, the board's detail panel.
Lists and boards
| Keys | Action |
|---|---|
| j | Next ticket |
| k | Previous ticket |
| o or Enter | Open the ticket |
| t | Show or hide the board's detail panel |
| 1 | Backlog |
| 2 | Board |
| 3 | Sprint reports |
On a project's ticket list, j and k move a highlight down and up the rows and o opens the highlighted ticket. On a board they select the next or previous card, so the detail panel follows along; o opens the selected ticket's page, and the panel's transition buttons move the selected card to another column without dragging.
On a ticket
| Keys | Action |
|---|---|
| e | Edit |
| a | Assign (opens the dialog) |
| i | Assign to me |
| m | Comment (moves the cursor to the comment box) |
| l | Change the labels, in place |
a and i also work on the board while a ticket is shown in the detail panel.
