Sales reports

Pipeline value by stage, the weighted forecast, won and lost with the win rate, time in stage, interactions logged and overdue follow-ups.

Reports in the CRM menu shows where the sales pipeline stands and how it has been going. Anyone who may see the CRM can open it, and every figure counts only the deals its reader may see: a deal that is out of your sight is in none of them, so two people may see different totals.

Note

An administrator can switch the sales reports off for a workspace (Modules and features). If you do not see them in yours, they are switched off there: ask an administrator if you need them.

The reports

The filters at the top apply to the whole page and are part of its address, so a view can be bookmarked or shared:

  • From and To are the period, in your own time zone, the last ninety days to begin with. The period decides what counts as won, lost, a stay in a stage and an interaction logged; the pipeline and the forecast are as they stand now.
  • Sales project narrows the page to one pipeline, when there are several.
  • Owner is the member a deal is assigned to. For interactions it is the member who logged them, and for follow-ups the member they are assigned to.
  • Company narrows it to one company's deals, interactions and follow-ups.

Amounts are never added across currencies. Every total is given per currency, a value with no currency apart as a bare number, and the charts count deals rather than money for the same reason.

Pipeline by stage is the open deals in each stage, with how many there are and what they are worth.

Won and lost is the deals that closed in the period, by the day they were won or lost: how many, their value, the win rate (won out of won and lost together), the reasons given for the lost ones, and both counts month by month.

Interactions logged counts the interactions each member logged in the period, by kind, and Overdue follow-ups lists the follow-ups past their due moment, the oldest first, each leading to what it is about.

The weighted forecast

The forecast groups the open deals by the month they are expected to close and gives, for each month, their value and their weighted value: each deal's value times its probability. A deal worth 1,000 at 50% adds 500. A deal with no probability adds its value and nothing to the weighted figure, and a deal with no expected close is in no month, so fill both in for the deals you want forecast. A month already past is marked: its deals are still open and their dates want another look.

Time in stage

For each stage a deal is open in, the report gives the average time deals stayed there, in days. A stay runs from the moment a deal entered the stage (or was made, for its first) to the moment it left, read from the deal's own history, and the stays averaged are the ones that ended in the period. A deal still sitting in a stage has not finished its stay and is not counted yet.

Exports

CSV and PDF download the report with the filters of the page: one table, a section a figure, and a row a currency, so a spreadsheet adds only what may be added.

On the home page

If you may see the CRM and there are deals you can see, your home page has a Pipeline card: the open deals with their value, and how many are expected to close this month. It opens the reports.
